Our Mission

‘Working Together to be Happy and Successful’ defines our commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child can reach their full potential and become responsible, caring community members.

  • We provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a love of learning, self-discipline, and respect from day one.

  • Strong partnerships with parents are essential to our mission. We value your support and encourage open communication, ensuring our school is welcoming and responsive to your needs.

  • Together, we strive to make each child’s journey with us a joyful experience.

Our Vision

Communication

Communication is the heartbeat of our school. It shapes our curriculum, daily life, and connections. With British Sign Language as our Modern Foreign Language, we ensure every voice is seen and heard.

Aspiration

We inspire bold, resilient, and creative learners to chase their dreams, seize opportunities, and achieve success anywhere.

Resolution

We equip our children to understand and celebrate difference; therefore, they will be prepared with the skills necessary to resolve conflict in a peaceful way.

Our Culture

Collaboration

We partner with parents and the community to create a safe, caring, and inspiring environment,
where every child is supported, challenged, and empowered to thrive.

Tailored Learning

We shape an exciting curriculum that meets our children’s needs,
rooted in our deep understanding of them and their community,
with a strong focus on reading, writing, and mathematics.

Broad Curriculum

We deliver a rich, balanced curriculum that builds on prior knowledge through hands-on experiences.Following the National Curriculum 2014, our thematic approach makes learning exciting, engaging, and interconnected

Cultural Understanding

We nurture respect for all beliefs and cultures, helping children understand right from wrong and the impact of their actions on others.

Personal Development

Our curriculum and pastoral care nurture well-rounded, respectful, and tolerant children, preparing them for secondary school and life in modern Britain.

Our children follow a curriculum that is ambitious and well sequenced, using a mixture of schemes and teacher led planning to ensure the National Curriculum is delivered. All our children learn BSL, a subject they relish and use to support their deaf peers. Inclusivity is a real strength of NWPS.
