Our Nursery
At our school nursery we aim to develop happy, enthusiastic and confident children with enquiring minds whilst providing them with the appropriate skills, attitudes and values which equip them for life.
Children will follow the EYFS Development Matters curriculum, with learning taking place both indoors and outdoors through experience, activity and purposeful play.
Nursery Sessions Times.
Morning Nursery: 8.45am -11.45 am (3 hours).
Afternoon Nursery: 12.10pm-3.10pm (3 hours).
All day Nursery: Monday – Friday 8.45am – 2.45pm (6 hours).
All day Nursery: Extended day until 3.10pm with a £2.50 per day charge.
All children aged 3 or 4 years are offered 15 hours of funded Nursery provision per week. These can be taken in different ways.
- Five morning sessions, Monday – Friday. This option is designed for our older children.
- Monday and Tuesday all day and Wednesday morning (finishing at 11.45am).
- Wednesday afternoon (starting at 12.10pm) and all day Thursday and Friday.
- Five afternoon sessions, Monday – Friday. This option is highly recommended for our younger children.
Some children may be eligible to attend our Nursery for up to 30 hours per week and need to provide us with their validation code every term (3times a year).
Please speak to us to find out more details about whether you may be eligible.
Children wishing to take up this offer need to select one of the above options and can then add any extra sessions as required. If you require 30 hours of Nursery provision this would be 5 days a week from 8.45m until 2.45pm.
If you are not eligible for the 30 hours of Nursery provision, but would like your child to attend additional sessions, this is available at a cost of £16.50 per session (3 hours).
The school breakfast and after school club is available if required, for additional care outside of the nursery hours.
