School Uniform
At Somerlea Park Junior School, our uniform reflects our identity and helps create a sense of pride, unity, and belonging within our school community. Wearing the correct uniform ensures students are ready to learn and represent the school positively.
Children should wear uniform at all times. The uniform should be worn smartly. Hair accessories i.e. head bands, should be kept plain and simple.
Uniform Code
- Grey or black school trousers, skirt or pinafore (no tracksuit bottoms)
- Blue Gingham summer dress or playsuit
- White shirt, polo shirt or blouse (shirts should be tucked in)
- Royal blue sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece (this can be purchased either with or without the Somerlea Park logo)
- Appropriate coat
- Plain black shoes or trainers (no logos) which provide support for the feet.
- No high heels, sandals or slip on shoes.
For PE
- Black/navy shorts or tracksuit bottoms (plain in colour)
- White t-shirt
- Plimsolls for indoor PE and trainers for outdoor
