A very warm welcome to Ashgate Croft School!

I’m Jenny Dodds, Headteacher at Ashgate Croft Special School, and I’m delighted to welcome you to our school website. As a special school for pupils aged 4-19 with severe and profound and multiple disabilities; we are dedicated to creating a supportive, nurturing environment where each individual can flourish.

Our vision at Ashgate Croft is Building Skills for Life, and we work to ensure that every pupil is equipped with the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Our dedicated staff team focuses on developing key areas such as independence, communication, behaviour, social skills, self-esteem, and preparation for adulthood. We celebrate the individuality of every pupil and tailor our approach to meet their unique needs and aspirations.

We also work closely with families, carers and professionals, fostering strong relationships to ensure our pupils are supported at every stage of their development. Whether you’re a parent, carer, or visitor, I hope this website gives you a sense of the care, commitment, and excellence that defines Ashgate Croft.
