Welcome to Mary Swanwick Primary School!

I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you and your children as Head Teacher of Mary Swanwick Primary School, where together we celebrate children’s achievements and love of learning. It is a privilege to be Head Teacher of our school; a school which I am truly proud to be a part of. 

Although it is difficult to sum up in a few words what makes our school special and unique – getting to know the children as individuals and their families is definitely one of the key principles held by our dedicated team. 

Mary Swanwick is a vibrant and successful school, but most importantly a happy place. We have fantastic children, a hard-working team and supportive parents and School Champions who together form our special community. Our strong child-centred ethos and culture guarantees you a warm, friendly welcome. We are a school family that nurtures excellence and supports children in learning for life. 

The team are fully committed to providing high quality teaching and learning, backed by first class care and support for all. We are passionate about recognising the individual talents of all the children in our care, to ensure that opportunities are provided so that all can reach their full potential.
